Speaking to the motivation behind the release  Lili Alaska explains, “Crazy is about feeling insane and pretending you’re not..It’s the exhaustion of constantly performing competence and happiness — to myself, to others. Writing this song was me finally admitting how easy it is to sink into darkness, to wallow in its comfort — and choosing instead to use it, to let it fuel me as I come back to life.”
